April 19-May 4: quite literally walking the walk: I'm not just recording music about medieval pilgrimage, I'll be walking the Camino Primitivo, Spain, playing medieval music from the founding of the pilgrim route along the way.
June-July: Houston Public Library System grand tour with Les Touches Viol Consort Sept. 28, 2:30pm: re-creating Texas' 19th-century classical music scene: concert with Old Spanish Trail, sponsored by the Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs. St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 4900 Jackwood, Houston. Oct. 11-Nov. 30: Texas Renaissance Festival with the venerable Renaissance-crossover ensemble Cantiga. Coming in 2025 - "Music for the Canterbury Tales" album

A programmatic gallery of medieval English tunes illuminating characters, scenes, and themes in Geoffrey Chaucer's classic work, performed on medieval instruments by a roster of hyper-creative medieval music experts. I've appeared on several albums, but this will be the first that's my own project. As the legendary jazz violinist Johnny Frigo said in an interview with Johnny Carson, about releasing his first album at age 63: "I won't live long enough to be a has-been."
